Dr Muralidaran has over 30+ years of experience as an Information Technology professional in the Financial Services sector. He has had a rich experience in building organizations. He joined the NSE Group of companies in May 2004.

In his last assignment as the Chief of Special Projects - NSEIL, he was responsible for the International Business Development and Exchange collaborations, strategic and futuristic technology and new initiatives of the exchange. Prior to this, as CEO of NSE Infotech Services Ltd., the captive IT services unit of NSE, he was responsible for the IT strategy, planning, software development, IT services of the exchange IT eco-system and vendor management of the exchange.

Before joining the NSE group, he was the CEO / CTO with the IL&FS group since 1990. In this role he was responsible for strategy planning, design and implementation of IT solutions across different group companies. Their 500+ people off-shore development centre supporting Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand was set up by him. During this tenure, he was part of the initial core team involved in setting up the National Stock Exchange from conceptualization stage till the initial implementation. He continued to be a part of the exchange in an advisory capacity in different committees

He has also worked with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in the Reactor Analysis and Simulation Systems group, and NELCO Ltd.

He holds a Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra for his work in "Architecture Model For Scaling Mission Critical Real Time Applications For High Performance" - under the management stream. He also holds a diploma in Computer Management and an MBA in Finance.

Professor Sadagopan, Director of IIIT -Bangalore, is an alumnus of Madras University, India and Purdue University, USA. He taught for over 25 years at IIT Kanpur, IIM Bangalore, IIT Madras and IIIT-Bangalore, in addition to short teaching assignments at RUTGERS, USA and AIT, Bangkok.

He has authored seven books, several book chapters and papers. He is a Fellow of IEE (UK) and Computer Society of India. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, ACM and AIS.

He consults widely and lectures extensively on all aspects of IT. He is and has been a member of Boards of several Universities – IIIT Dharwad, IIIT-Gwalior, IIIT Delhi, Jain University, Dayanand Sagar, Chairman –IIITD&M Kancheepuram IBAB / Corporations – Bank of India, NMDC, BEL, NSE, BEML, IRDAI to mention a few. Committees- NSEIT, NESL, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and Non-Executive Chairman, IDRBT Governing Council.

He serves / served as Member of Karnataka Knowledge Commission, Chief Minister's Vision Group on IT, NASSCOM Regional Council, Indian Electronics Semiconductor Association (IESA) Executive Council and ACM India Council. He was the Chair of IEEE Computer Society, Bangalore Chapter.

Ritesh is an Assistant General Manager with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), who is currently on deputation to National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). He is the Program Director of the PGDM (Securities Markets) program at NISM.

Besides handling the PGDM program, Ritesh is also a full-time faculty member, involved actively in both long term academic programs as well as corporate training programs at NISM. His teaching interest lies in varied subjects and areas related to Capital Markets, including Fixed Income Securities, Alternative Investment Funds, Equities Research and Valuation, Derivatives & Risk Management, etc.

Before joining NISM, he has worked with SEBI for almost a decade. He has worked in the Investment Management Department and the Corporation Finance Department of SEBI. His areas of expertise include Equities Markets, Corporate Bond Markets, Public Issues and Capital raising, Initial Listing and Continuous compliances, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Infrastructure Investment Trusts, and Forensic accounting & Fraud detection.

Ritesh has participated in various national and international conferences and seminars organised by various institutions and has also been a speaker in many such conferences and seminars. He has also represented SEBI in various meetings and roundtable discussions at multilateral forums such as IOSCO, G20 GFSG, etc.

Ritesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Lucknow and an M.Sc. in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University. He is also a CFA charter holder, an active member of the Indian Association of Investment Professionals (CFA Society, India), and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Shri Nehal Vora is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of CDSL since September 24, 2019.

CSDL under his leadership as the MD & CEO, has become the leading depository of India with over 2 crore beneficiary accounts and is the first and the only depository to launch have its Branch at the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at the GIFT City, Gandhinagar. In addition, he continues to implement strong systems and processes for effective governance.

He is also a Director on the Board of AIC-NMIMS Incubation Centre, which was launched by NMIMS – a premier B school in India, in collaboration with NITI Aayog, Government of India.

Shri Vora has over 2 decades of experience. In his earlier role as the Chief Regulatory Officer of BSE Limited and the member of the Executive Leadership Team, he drove regulatory excellence through membership compliance, surveillance, inspection, investigation, regulatory communication, investor services, listing compliance and regulatory legal teams.

He began his career with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 1996, where, he managed various functions including the Derivatives and New Products Department, covering policy, product and process innovation in areas of derivatives. He also implemented the T+2 rolling settlement and the system of Straight through Processing for the Institutional trades for the Indian Securities Markets.

Shri Vora has also headed the Broking and Investment Banking Compliance at DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd, as the Director, Law and Compliance.

He has been felicitated with many Distinguished awards across his career such as NetApp Innovation Award 2019 for Social Media Parsing (using Artificial Intelligence), Compliance Champion award, IDC Digital Transformation Awards, Best New Product in Asia for Market Surveillance, OGC Living the Mission Award amongst many others and latest being recognised as the Distinguished Alumnus. He is a guest speaker at various international forums, conferences and is also a lecturer at the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

Shri Vora holds a Commerce degree from H R College, Mumbai and a Master of Management Studies degree in Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), University of Mumbai.

Mr. Uttam Bagri is the third-generation promoter director of the 62-year-old BCB Group, a financial services group primarily engaged in Stock Broking and Merchant Banking activities. Mr. Bagri is a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. He has been associated with the financial markets for more than two decades. He has served on the Board of now BSE Limited from 2003 to 2005 and 2010 to 2012 as Trading Member representative. He has been a member of many Committees of Market Infrastructure Institutions and SEBI over time.

Nirav Parikh is a Director with Citigroup Global Markets in Singapore. He has 20+ year experience in Financial Services covering a range of business at Citi within the Markets & Trading business. Nirav is an expert in Front Office Technology & Listed Derivatives with extensive experience in the APAC markets having worked with in Sydney, HongKong & Singapore. He was recently the Global Head of Electronic Execution before moving into his current role of Product Management in Singapore focused on building the Derivatives Clearing business in the region. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Citigroup Global Markets Singapore Securities Ltd.

Nirav is an active learner and holds several qualifications in Finance, Technology, Sociology & Management. He is a regular speaker at industry events across Asia and is currently associated with the National University of Singapore to explore AI & ML applications in Trading & Finance.  Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, scuba-diving & paragliding. 

Dr V.R. Narasimhan has 40 years of work experience in Financial and Capital Markets in India. At present he is working as Dean with National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), an educational initiative of SEBI.

He started his career as a lecturer. Thereafter he worked with AP State Finance Corporation (APSFC), Public Enterprise Management Board, Government of Andhra Pradesh, SEBI, National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), Kotak Mahindra Bank and NSE (National Stock Exchange).

While he was working with India’s first securities depository NSDL, he was responsible for spreading the demat concept amongst all issuers and investors in the country and also played key role in developing new products and services like setting up National Skill Registry for NASSCOM, biometric based investor registration system called MAPIN (now abandoned), conceptualization of Central Record Keeping Agency for PFRDA etc.

While he was with Kotak Mahindra Bank, he played multiple roles including setting up Kotak Mahindra Pension Fund Company, setting up Kotak Commodity Derivatives Exchange, Group head for capital market compliance etc.

He served NSE as its Chief Regulatory Officer from 2013 till 2018 and retired from its service.

Dr. Narasimhan is a post graduate in Commerce, MBA (Finance) and a Ph. D and a member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Mr. Sunil Kadam is the Registrar of National Institute of Securities Markets(NISM), an educational initiative of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Prior to taking over as Registrar of NISM, Mr. Kadam was Regional Director of Northern Regional Office of SEBI.

Mr. Kadam has joined SEBI in 1996 and during his tenure in SEBI he has worked in various departments in SEBI and handled the work relating to administration and inspection of Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) and SEBI registered intermediaries, surveillance and investigations, corporation finance, forensic accounting, corporate governance, Business Responsibility Reports, Indian Depository Receipts (IDRs), E-voting, search and seizure, treasury and accounts, enquiry and adjudications, litigations, etc.

Mr. Kadam was also a member of SEBI Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards (SCODA) and Auditing & Assurance Standards Board of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has also represented SEBI in Asian Roundtable on Corporate Governance meetings organized by the Organization for Economic Co- operation and Development (OECD) and was also part of OECD report on “Related Party Transactions and Minority Shareholder Protection”.

Mr. Kadam holds a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Pune.

Shri Santosh Kumar Mohanty is an IRS Officer of 1991 Batch and is presently posted as a Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India in Mumbai since June 2018.

Prior to taking charge as Whole Time Member, Shri Mohanty held the position of Executive Director, Securities and Exchange Board of India, on Deputation since September 2015.

As a Whole Time Member of SEBI, Shri Mohanty was till recently looking after the entire Secondary Market comprising Market Regulation Department and Commodity Derivative Market Regulation Department before taking up the responsibility of Corporate Finance Department dealing with Primary Markets. He also Chaired a High Powered Committee on Cyber Security constituted by SEBI to spearhead the cyber security activities of the MIIs and was a Member of Technical Advisory Committee of SEBI.

Prior to joining SEBI on Deputation, Shri Mohanty served as Director at the erstwhile Forward Markets Commission (FMC) where he was in-charge of the Market Policy and the Legal Affairs Division and played a critical role in the merger of FMC with SEBI. As an IRS officer he has served for more than 25 years in the Income Tax department at various cities of the country.

Mr. Pazhamalai Jayaraman (aka ‘JPM’), heads the Systems Audit vertical at ReBIT. He has more than 2 decades of Industry experience in the areas of IT, and more specifically, in the Information/Cyber Security domain. He was leading the Information Security function for a large IT enterprise, as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), with the responsibility of protecting customer data of Global fortune 500 companies. During this tenure, he was the driving force behind in building the Information Security office from ground-up, including achieving globally first BS 7799 Certified Enterprise organization, ITGC-SOX certification for IT and Non-IT entities, setting up the Cyber Security Audit function, incubating the Digital Forensics department and providing litigation support to legal department for e-Discovery process, Information Security Risk Management, IT Governance and Assurance practices. He and his team also played an active role in reviewing Information Security during due-diligence phase of M&A.

Subsequent to the role as a Global CISO for an IT enterprise, Mr. Pazhamalai served as the Head of Information Security and Technology Assurance for a captive unit of a multi-national bank, holding a global role with responsibilities in Information Security Risk assessment, Supplier Security Risk assessment, ITGC controls assessment and Identity and Access Control program management functions.

Mr. Pazhamalai possesses Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Applications. He has also completed Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence [PGP-BABI] jointly offered by Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai & Illinois Institute of Management, USA. He has to his credit ITIL, CISA, CISSP, CISM and SABSA certifications in Cyber Security.

He was invited to speak in many domestic & International conferences and moderated number of sessions as a Chair. He was also in receipt of Top 100 CISO award for his contributions in Information Security domain.

Sankarson Banerjee is the Chief Information Officer at RBL Bank. He is an accomplished technology professional with over 23 years of multi-faceted experiences in the industry.

In his current role at RBL Bank, Sankarson is responsible for Information Technology, optimizing legacy IT Systems, identifying and adopting innovation and enabling digital transformation of the Bank.

Prior to joining RBL Bank, Sankarson was Chief Technology Officer at the National Stock Exchange. Sankarson is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur & IIM Calcutta.

Dr. Paresh Paul has more than 25 years of IT experience in Technology thought leadership, Technology Strategy, Product envisioning, Solution architecture and Technology delivery for the leading Exchanges and BFSI vertical. He is an M.Tech. and PhD from IIT Kharagpur in the specialization of computer process control and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and has proven track record in the fields of Product Engineering, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, User Experience (UX), Exchange and Brokerage solutions, and Low Latency solutions.

Paresh has been working in senior technology leadership role with various organizations. He is presently associated with Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) as Chief Information Officer. Prior to this, he worked with Indian Energy Exchange Ltd (IEX) as Chief Technology Officer, NSEIT Ltd as Chief Delivery Officer and with Mphasis as Delivery Leader in its Banking & Capital Market (BCM) vertical.
